Grant Opportunities

In honor of Nancy Phlegar’s spirit and fight against a brain cancer, the NEPM Foundation is dedicated to helping others achieve better outcomes and support families as they work towards recovery. Through grant opportunities, we are helping families navigate difficult times.

For many families the struggle with brain cancers to cover financial obligations beyond medical care is overwhelming. Our goal is to help alleviate some of those worries for those having troubles making ends meet for non-medical expenses. No family should have to choose between rent, food, transportation, utilities, or medical care.

Partnership

Family Reach and NEPM are launching a Clinical Trial Access Fund specifically for patients enrolled in a clinical trial for a brain cancer diagnosis. Funding will help cover non-medical expenses, including mortgage/rent payments, utilities, groceries, and transportation.

Apply for a Grant

Fund eligibility guidelines:

• Participation in a clinical trial based in the US or a US territory that is intended to actively treat a cancer diagnosis

• Expected household income for this year is within 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) — calculate your FPL here

• Application must be submitted by a member of the healthcare team where the patient is receiving treatment

• Applications will only be reviewed and processed for open funds. Apply for the fund:
