Finding Better Outcomes

Nancy was diagnosed through an incidental finding in Fall 2016 and underwent surgery, radiation, and treatment. After being fortunate to make a tremendous recovery following treatment, she resumed her motto of “Live, Love, Laugh”. With her energy back, she pursued some of her true passions including helping others, endless walks (often 8-miles or more), tennis and golf, to name a few!

Nancy followed doctors recommendations throughout, including scans during the pandemic. Regrettably, a scan in June 2021 identified a small sign of recurrence which required Nancy to undergo a second brain surgery. After the surgery Nancy stoically underwent multiple forms of drug therapy, many of which were in various stages of their respective FDA approval. While there were glimmers of hope, the tumor ultimately became more and more aggressive. Nancy’s genetic make-up, along with available forms of treatment, were insufficient to conquer the battle, no matter how hard Nancy was willing to fight. But the fight is not over, we are committed to making a difference for others.
